The receptionist told Jack that his assistant had phoned and said that she had been attempting to contact him to let him know that his dinner had been postponed. Jack was taken aback.
When he pulled out his phone to answer the receptionist’s question about the cancellation of the meal, he discovered that it had been dead for some time. Since Jack was unable to sleep the previous night, he ended up using his phone the whole time and neglected to see whether it was charged.
As she advised that she contact them when the room was ready, Aria spoke with the receptionist about if it was okay for them to keep their bags there. Aria was asked what they would do in the meantime by Jack.
He was advised by Aria to take advantage of their work trip and go to the cabana. When Jack asked Aria what she was referring to, she said it was the club that Peter, their flight attendant, had informed her about.
Since they had a huge day the next day, Jack reminded Aria that he could not visit a club as some flight attendant had suggested. It was a karaoke club, not simply a club, according to Aria, who also said that it would be preferable than sweeping the lobby and screaming at the workers.
She was free to go, but Jack informed her that he would not be following. He was informed by Aria that this was absurd since she had just met him at the club.

After much deliberation, Jack agreed to accompany her, but he made it clear he wouldn’t be singing. That was OK to Aria, but she insisted that he use their business card to pay for the bar bill.
Jack was well aware that Aria was bringing him along for another reason. Peter met Aria and Jack as they entered the club. The two of them making it to the club made him delighted.
They were pleased to be there, Aria informed him. Peter urged the two of them to settle down after informing them that they had ordered a pitcher and some food.
Jack thanked Peter for that but requested a whiskey in addition. Peter Jack was assured by Aria that she was joking. She informed him they were not their waiters and urged him to go to the bar on his own or accept whatever they had ordered when Jack insisted he was serious.
Jack reminded Aria that he did not feel at ease in that situation. He was informed by Aria that it wasn’t their city, that he should unwind, and that he shouldn’t be in charge for the evening.
Jack said that Aria had vowed to make him perform as long as he paid the bill when she pulled him along to the karaoke.
Peter was paying their tab, therefore they should enjoy ourselves, Aria reminded him. Together, they sung their hearts out while indulging in food and beverages. By the time they arrived at the motel, the two of them were inebriated.
Jack and Aria were notified by the receptionist that their room had been upgraded. Jack was inebriated and didn’t understand what she was proposing because he had already reserved the nicest accommodations.
